Healthy Brains: Reducing Your Risk for Alzheimer's Disease
What’s good for your brain? Here is a course to help you to learn what steps you can take to improve your brain health and reduce your risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease. Participants in this course will learn how to differentiate between dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The course will include identification of the four areas of brain health including challenging your brain, being socially active, making wise choices and protecting your head. We will also discuss how to make lifestyle changes to reduce your risk and create a self-management plan to implement for your own personal success. Class Size: Max. 95

Instructor: Rosemary Fiss
BIO NOTE: Rosemary is the Director of Programs with the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County. She has been with the Society since March 2004. Rosemary holds numerous certifications in the dementia field, including being a Master Trainer for Dementia Ability and Best Friends Approach and a Coach in Gentle Persuasive Approaches.
