Submarines in the St. Lawrence
In WW2 German subs menaced shipping in the St. Lawrence and to this day historians argue over who was the victor. As ships were sunk a young nation struggled to fight back as internal schisms came to the fore This will be a brief look at a piece of Canadian history that is not often discussed but is as interesting as any part of our role in WW2. Note to better follow the class a downloadable map will be made available. Class Size: Max. 50

Instructor: Gary Wells
BIO NOTE: Gary is a graduate of the U of Windsor and upon retirement now works on history specializing in the WW1 through WW2 timeframe. He prefers to look into lesser known but interesting and important things that are in danger of being lost to time.
