Memory Tips & Tricks
In this course you will be provided with an increased awareness and better understanding of Alzheimer’s disease by examining the 10 Warning Signs. Memory loss can be difficult to cope with and frustrating, however, we will look at strategies that can be utilized to help manage memory problems and support individuals to stay independent for as long as possible. As well, these tips and tricks are useful to anyone who wants to improve their own memory. This course will focus on some ideas and suggestions provided by people living with memory loss. Class Size: Max. 50

Instructors: Tara Seney & Theresa Stoesser
BIO NOTE: Tara is the Education Manager for The Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent. She has been with the Society since 2010. Tara holds numerous certifications in the dementia field, including being a Coach in Gentle Persuasive Approaches. Theresa is with Behaviour Supports Ontario (BSO) as the Erie-St. Clair Regional Education Coordinator. She has been with BSO and the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent since 2018. Theresa is currently studying Behaviour Analysis at a master's level & focuses on behavioural understanding & management in older adults.
